Some things are called classics for a reason. German Hefeweizen is one of them.
We love German inspired brews. They've long been a fundamental part of our brewery DNA but we've never actually made a classic Hefeweizen so we took up the challenge.
We loved how our award-winning Der Klassiker turned out so we learned a couple small lessons and came up with Sunglow.
Der Klassiker's fraternal twin, small tweaks in time and temperature were made to accentuate the highs and round out the lows. Same tasty middle. We hope you'll soak it up.
S&O loves Hefeweizens!We double decocted this version, a time consumingand overly complicated process to enhance thethings we already loved about this style;Mouthfeel, banana bread complexity and gentle spice. Nothing says sunshine like a classic German Hefe!
